So simple, and she smiles with her eyes, and she likes to do what’s right. Behind her home, every flower has a story of its own. Every tree she gave a name. And she sings songs songs that only she and God knows, and she longs for a world that’s full of hope, and so she smiles with her eyes, and she likes to share the light. *(CH) Little child, come and see me when you’re grown. Little child, come and visit your old home, little child, little child. How I need you more than I have ever shunned you. It’s alright be the shelter in my soul.* And at her school, she befriends the other kids who aren’t so cool. She doesn’t need to hide her love. And she’s so free, unaware of how she looks or how she speaks. She doesn’t mind what others think. That’s why she smiles with her eyes, and she likes to live life. (CH) Time passes like the wind. Can it circle round again? Do you know who I am, little child?
