faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God/ the word of God says not to worry/ be careful for nothing, don’t wonder what the day will bring/ and still anxiety is with me/ when i keep my faith in such a faithless place/ Father give me grace/ theres so much at stake (ch) you’re waiting so long to rescue me/ you’re waiting so long/ more than i please but i’ll hold on if it’s what i need to be free well if faith comes by hearing/ then i’m not hearing what you say/ and it’s so hard to have patience/ so help me please cause at times like these/ every cell rebels at your allegiance/ still you are strong in love, the only thing i’m sure of/ lift me up when you’ve had enough (ch) captivated by the thought of you: “well done my child”/ it’s enough to make me wait for you, to see you smile/ every tear will mend somehow
